The Bed ’n Biscuit at Flint River Animal Hospital offers full-service boarding to ensure your pet is happy, safe and comfortable. Dogs, cats, birds, and other types of pets all have a place at the Bed ‘n Biscuit!
We offer size appropriate beds that can be customized to meet specific needs. Whether your baby is “twin size” or “king size” or somewhere in between, we have just the right space.
If needed, we request any of our Bed N’ Biscuit guests to only bring in the following acceptable items: own food, treats, and medication. Bed N’ Biscuit will provide bedding, blankets, and food.

Supervised group play on our ½ acre fenced playground ensures tired, happy guests at the end of each day.
If your pet is not “canine-oriented,” don’t worry! The Bed ‘n Biscuit will customize playtimes to keep your cat, bird, ferret, etc., happy and entertained during their stay with us.
Parental permission is required for group play. Pets must be spayed or neutered if they are over six months old to participate.
Bed ‘n Biscuit Requirements
In order to be a guest at the Bed ‘n Biscuit, your pet must be up-to-date on the following vaccinations and services:
- Dogs – Rabies, DA2PP(Distemper Parvo), Bordetella, Influenza, Heartworm Test, Intestinal Parasite Screen
- Cats – Rabies, Upper Respiratory booster (FVRCP)
- Ferrets – Rabies, Upper Respiratory booster (FVRCP)
We will be happy to provide any necessary vaccinations upon your arrival at the Bed ‘n Biscuit. We strive to provide the Best Care possible for our patients so we do not just “give shots.” We also offer customized vaccine protocol based on the patients individual needs. A wellness exam is included along with the needed vaccinations. Our Animal Healthcare Team is here to provide any needed medical services while your pet is with us; anything from a dental cleaning to treatment of chronic ear issues.
